John Fitzgerald Crawford 64, of Decatur, Michigan succumbed of his illness on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 at 8 am.
John was born on April 21st, 1961 in Pemiscot, Missouri to the late J.H. and Winifred Crawford. He was one of nine children. John enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, who were the light of his life. John was a very hard worker and loved construction. He spent time as a union carpenter and was very good with his hands. He also enjoyed his muscle cars and some good rock and roll. John was diagnosed with stage four small cell lung cancer and put up the greatest fight he could.
Surviving are his two children Ami Wroblewski(Jason), and Brandy Taggart(Josh). Two grandchildren Zoey Regner and Amelia Taggart. Siblings including Patricia Pefley(Dave), Chris Brink, Mary Goss, Susan Crawford, Joe Crawford(Wendy), Veronica Lisowski(Joe) and Carl Crawford(Carole). Aunt Georgia Crawford and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Proceeding in his death are his parents J.H. Crawford and Winifred Crawford. Brother Vernon Crawford(Dorthy) and sister Sheila Crawford.
There is no service planned, but a potluck will be scheduled for family at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heritage Chapel, Berrien Springs.
