
A 38-year-old Lawton man has been arrested in Van Buren County for driving with a suspended license and possessing drug paraphernalia.
Van Buren County Sheriff Daniel Abbott tells us that on Wednesday, around 7:55 p.m., deputies were on patrol in the 32000 block of Ewing Road in Antwerp Township when they spotted an ATV being driven on the roadway. During a traffic stop of the male driver, it was discovered that he had a suspended driver’s license.
Further investigation revealed that the ATV had recently been reported stolen, and the suspect was found in possession of methamphetamine and narcotics paraphernalia.
He was subsequently arrested on these charges and taken to the Van Buren County Jail.
