Get ready to indulge your taste buds with the flavors of St. Joseph and Benton Harbor during Restaurant Month.

St. Joe Today’s Daniele Crevier tells us beginning April 4, residents are invited to explore and “Savor the Shoreline” by visiting participating restaurants in the downtown area and the Benton Harbor Arts District.

“We’ve been talking about celebrating restaurants, restaurant month, restaurant week, trying to find our own variation here in downtown St. Joe, Southwest Michigan for a long, long time,” Crevier says. “We partnered with Harbor Shores and really just kind of explored that a little bit more this winter. So we’re really excited to have this take off.”

Residents can take part by completing their passport by visiting five participating eateries for a chance to win exciting prizes.

“There’s 13 participants, 12 are restaurants and one’s a coffee special, but we’re just asking them to dine in the minimum of five participating locations and that will count as a completed passport,” Crevier says. “You can turn those passports back into St. Joe Today by Friday, May 9th, and we’ve got a whole bunch of different prizes that they can win.”

In honor of the 45th anniversary of St. Joe Today, local restaurants are offering special $45 meal options throughout the month. The event will be held until May 4.

For a complete list of participating restaurants and their menus, be sure to check out St. Joe Today.

You can pickup passports at any participating restaurant or the St. Joe Today welcome center.
