The Allegan Community Foundation is thanking the public after it was able to raise $53,000 with its third annual Allegan County Gives event, a day dedicated to fostering philanthropy and community engagement.

The foundation says this year’s celebration held particular significance as it marked the 60th anniversary of ACCF’s founding on March 19, 1965.

To promote volunteerism, ACCF hosted its 2nd annual Volunteer Fair, bringing together nearly 50 non-profits. Attendees had the chance to explore volunteer opportunities, connect with causes that align with their passions, and make contributions to their community. Throughout the day, donors stepped up to strengthen non-profits and scholarship.

The ACCF provided a $60,000 matching challenge, doubling the impact of every contribution. It says the community rallied together, raising $53,000, which, when matched, brought the overall financial impact to nearly $106,000.

The foundation says Allegan County Gives 2025 “beautifully showcased the collective generosity of Allegan County residents.”
