Congressman Bill Huizenga is planning a couple of tele town halls for this week.
Huizenga says the first will be on Friday at 3 p.m. It will be a senior-focused telephone town hall on the issues being discussed in Washington that directly affect senior citizens. The second, on Saturday at 2 p.m., will be to discuss topics being debated in Washington that impact not only the nation, but also Southwest Michigan specifically.
Huizenga says the tele town hall format will allow “tens of thousands of residents to participate both over the phone and online.”
Once the call gets underway, he’ll discuss work he’s been doing for the Fourth District. Then, he’ll take calls.
