Michiganders can now report any suspected government fraud.
The Chair of the Michigan House Oversight Committee, state Representative Jay DeBoyer, encourages residents to share any possible misconduct of government employees.
“People can actually go on and anonymously provide information to us as the Oversight Committee, and that is MIOversight.com,” DeBoyer said. “So, M-I as in Michigan, MIOversight.com. So that will be live and that will allow people the ability to provide information to us with regard to concerns about the operations, the efficiencies, potentially the frauds or the legalities of the state of Michigan.”
The Michigan House has voted to give the Oversight Committee blanket subpoena power on a case-by-case basis.
