Application are due for a special college scholarship.
Since 2009, the Community Choice Foundation has awarded $1.6 million in scholarships to students supporting their pursuit of college degrees and more. Community Choice Credit Union ‘s Anessa Morley says they’ll award 25 people ranging $2,500 to $5,000.
“We also offer scholarships to those who are continuing their education and also we have a unique category for skilled trade,” Morley said. “We offer $2,500 scholarships for students who are seeking vocational training or certification through accredited programs that may not fall under a traditional public school or university.”
In all, the scholarship is $100,000 and is open to any Michigan resident.
