Gen Z workers want a mentor, according to a survey by staffing firm Robert Half.

Robert Half’s Shannon Edlinger told us more.

35% of workers say participating in mentorship programs is the most and was the most impactful way to develop their specific skill set in their industry,” Edlinger said. “Now, in a separate survey, 23% of workers reported their biggest struggle as an entry level professional was not being assigned a mentor.”

Edlinger says if a company doesn’t have a mentor program, she suggests a younger employee joins professional groups to possibly find a mentor there.
