What was everyone looking up on Google last month?
As it turns out, they were interested in a lot of things. Commonly searched topics included the Oscars, the NFL playoffs, Wolf Moons, and song nostalgia.
Google Trends expert Charity Mhende says people were looking up iconic songs of the 2000s.
“I was really excited to see that Destiny’s Child was a top trending band,” Mhende said. “I remember growing up listening to Destiny’s Child myself, so definitely was tapping in as well to see some of their songs of the 2000s. People were also searching for Heidi Montag charts, which spiked 50% above searches for top music charts.
Mhende says other top searches were self-case and red dye since the FDA announced a ban on Red Dye Number 3.
