Schoolcraft College in metro Detroit is celebrating the one year birthday of its Campus Comfort Creatures, a pack of five adorable chocolate labs that provide peace and comfort to the students and faculty during stressful times.

The dogs were all born in Canada last winter and have spent the last year training. They recently graduated from Comfort Care College. Campus Police Chief Mark Engstrom told us more.

“They’re simply trained on having good manners and being available to people that might be the victim of a crime or going through an emotional episode where a dog in the right setting has an intense calming effect on people,” Engstrom said.

You can keep up on the puppy’s journeys on their very own Instagram channel at SC_Pups.
