How often do your kids brush their teeth?
A new poll from the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Childrens Hospital has found some parents need to take a closer look. Co-Director Dr. Sarah Clark told us more.
“Only three in five parents said that on all or most days, their kid brushes twice a day for at least two minutes,” Clark said. “Much lower rates of things like flossing, cleaning your tongue, or rinsing your mouth after eating sugary foods or drinking sugary beverages.”
Clark says it’s important to teach kids the importance of oral hygiene routine because it sets their habits for lifelong oral health.
