The Allegan County Community Foundation has announced another peanut butter drive.

The drive for the Allegan County Food Pantry Collaborative, a program of the ACF, is seeking 6,000 jars of peanut better so they can be distributed among collaborative partners.

In 2024, the drive was able to collect 6,302 jars and raised $2,500, which was used to bulk purchase more than 1,600 additional jars of peanut butter. That directly affected more than 6,000 residents from across Allegan County.

The ACF says peanut butter is a shelf-stable source of protein that can be of significant use to families.

Anyone can drop off jars of peanut butter at more than 80 drop off sites around the county. You can find a list of drop off sites right here, and you can make a monetary donation right here.

The peanut butter drive kicked off on Friday, which happened to be National Peanut Butter Day.
