The Dowagiac Police Department is investigating after shots were fired at a golf course over the weekend.
The department says officers were called to the Elks Golf Course on Riverside Drive around 11:15 a.m. on Saturday when someone reported suspects in two vehicles discharging firearms. The vehicles were described as a grey sedan and a white SUV.
One person was seen fleeing the scene on foot.
The incident is still under investigation, and police don’t yet have any suspects. No injuries were reported.
