From ABC News — Ford is recalling the electric version of the country’s most popular vehicle.
The Lighting is Ford’s all electric take on the F-150 pickup truck, and now the company is recalling just under 11,000 of the EVs. The concern is that a control arm in the truck could detach and cause it to loose steering.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says dealers will fix the problem for free once owners are notified, which it says should happen by early February.
The recall affects Lightnings made during the 2023 and 2024 model year.
