Several elected officials in Van Buren County have been sworn into their new terms.
A ceremony was held Friday at the Van Buren County Courthouse for the officials elected on November 5 to be sworn in. They include Sheriff Dan Abbott, Prosecutor Susan Zuiderveen, County Clerk Suzie Roehm, Treasurer Trisha Nesbitt, Register of Deeds Paul DeYoung, Drain Commissioner Joe Parman, Surveyor Charles Lossie, and all seven county commissioners.
Judge Kathleen Brickley did the honors by presiding over the swearing in ceremony.
