What’s the best city to celebrate Christmas in style without blowing your holiday budget?
According to officials at WalletHub, the answer is Atlanta, Georgia.
WalletHub’s annual survey revealed Atlanta has a high number of holiday-themed stores, including card shops and bakeries, in addition to its residents ranking in the top 10 nationally in donations of both money and clothes to charities during the holiday season.
As for Metro Detroit, the area came in 85th out of 100 cities in this year’s survey. Detroit was ranked in the top 50 nationally for holiday traditions and fun, as well as for its residents’ observances of Christmas and Hanukkah.
However, Detroit came in near the bottom in the rankings in two other categories — generosity and toy stores in the area.
