The Benton Harbor boys basketball home game scheduled for Thursday against Brandywine will take place at Our Lady of the Lake due to an unforeseen issue.

Benton Harbor’s athletic director Danny Jennings tells us that a pipe burst in a nearby bathroom, causing water to leak underneath the gym floor.

“We had some water damage from a pipe leakage on Friday,” Jennings says. “ServPro has been graciously giving us their services and trying to restore everything. They have us staying off the court right now until Monday.”

Despite the venue change for Thursday’s game, Jennings says that the gym will be ready for the Tigers’ upcoming Earl McKee basketball tournament next week.

WSJM will provide coverage of Thursday’s game at Our Lady of the Lake, with tip-off slated for 7 p.m.
