The Berrien County Road Department is starting a new culvert replacement project in Weesaw Township.
Log Cabin Road and Pardee Road in the township will be closed starting Thursday to facilitate two culvert replacements at the Norris Lake Drain. The closure is expected to last six to eight weeks, and no thru traffic will be permitted on Log Cabin Road between Kaiser Road and Warren Woods Roads. This also applies for Pardee Road between Kaiser Road and Warren Woods Road.
Once the culvert is installed, the road will be reopened with gravel in place. Once weather allows next spring, contractors will return to complete any remaining work.
