It’s almost over.
Tuesday is Election Day, meaning we could soon know who the next president is. But the presidential election isn’t the only thing being decided today. On the ballot are a U.S. Senate race in Michigan, races for the House of Representatives, state House elections, county races, and township and village ballot elections.
The Berrien County Clerk’s office reminds everyone the polls open at 7 a.m. and will close at 8 p.m.
If you still have an absentee ballot to turn in, Tuesday, November 5 is the last day to do it. Take it to your local polling location. If you haven’t registered to vote, same-day registration is allowed in Michigan, but be sure to bring your ID. You’ll also have to fill out some additional paperwork.
WSJM will air live broadcasts tonight to hear from state, county, and local elected officials while they wait for the election results to come in. However, we’re told full results aren’t likely to be available until very late. Nationally, some are predicting we won’t know who won the presidential election for days.
