The Big Lots store in Benton Harbor is closing.
The news comes just weeks after Big Lots filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Big Lots announced in August it would be closing more than 300 stores, and nearly 50 new stores were added to the list this week.
On Facebook, Big Lots Benton Harbor says it received confirmation on October 3 of its closure. They’ll begin the closing process on Friday. Big Lots Benton Harbor says, “It’s been a great run and we are beyond grateful for each and every one of you over the years.”
The store will remain open until all of its remaining product is sold. Management promises to share information with the public as it can.
