Suspect arrested in burglary of South Haven Family Dollar

A suspect has been arrested following extensive damage to a Family Dollar store in South Haven.

The South Haven Police Department says it responded to a burglary at the store at 615 Phillips Street early on Wednesday. They say the suspect forced entry and caused significant damage to the building and interior, including store displays and shelving.

The suspect has since been taken into custody, and it has been confirmed that he was working alone.

The South Haven Police Department thanked the community for its vigilance in the incident.
