Huizenga: Zelensky remarks were ‘interference’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit this week to the United States hasn’t impressed Congressman Bill Huizenga.

Huizenga tells us Zelensky barely met with any Republicans during his visit to Washington and then made his preference in the presidential election quite plain during a visit to swing state Pennsylvania.

He was at a munitions factory in Pennsylvania where he attacked J.D. Vance and started commenting and giving commentary on U.S. elections,” Huizenga said. “That’s called interference. I’m kind of curious what he would think if there was members of Congress showing up in in Ukraine commenting about his leadership of the country at an election time.”

Huizenga says it’s not like Zelensky made his remarks in California, where they would have made no difference in the election result.

Huizenga says with Donald Trump being more critical of Ukraine than President Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris, the remarks from Zelensky were inappropriate.
