The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department says a body was recovered from Lake Michigan off Silver Beach Wednesday.
The body was reported around 4:20 p.m. Resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful.
Police say the body is that of a 69-year-old St. Joseph Township man.
The man’s name has not been released pending notification of family.
