Three Michigan vacation towns have some of America’s best motels, at least according to one website.
Frankenmuth is Michigan’s top ranked place for motels on BadCredit.com’s list, finishing at number 40 out of 150 nationwide. Reviewers say Frankenmuth’s motels are charming, featuring their unique Bavarian-style architecture. They’re also very close to the town’s shops, restaurants, and seasonal events.
At number 55 is Petoskey with the website citing the motel’s stunning views of Little Traverse Bay.
Saugatuck comes in at number 131. A cozy stay is promised, nearby local shops and art galleries.
These rankings are from 3,000 travelers in a survey from the website.
