The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department is investigating damage to several vehicles in Antwerp Township.
The department says deputies were sent to the 29,000 block of Red Arrow Highway when drivers reported their vehicles being damaged as they drove eastbound on the road Tuesday morning. At least three were hit by unknown projectiles from the north side of the road.
The preliminary investigation has determined the damage was not from a high-powered firearm. The damage to the vehicles was to the driver side doors and windows, although there were no injuries.
The sheriff’s department says the situation is under investigation and anyone with information that could help is asked to contact it.
