St. Joseph Township is about to start a new sidewalk project.
The St. Joseph township Board of Trustees this week voted to put in some new sidewalks on the west side of Lincoln Avenue. Township Manager Denise Cook told us this will give pedestrians more options.
“It’s a project that we talked about at our budget meeting that will be going in 2025 on the west side of Lincoln Avenue from Maiden Lane to about Vineland,” Cook said.
The township will use about $46,000 in remaining federal ARPA dollars for the project.
Cook didn’t know when construction will start, but said that should be announced soon.
