A South Haven woman is charged with criminal sexual conduct in a child exploitation case.
The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department says the 30-year-old suspect was arrested this week in the 4,000 block of County Road 687 in Geneva Township after an investigation by it and the Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The investigation was prompted by a cyber tip.
The sheriff’s department hasn’t revealed much about the case, but it says the woman is charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct, second degree criminal sexual conduct, manufacturing child sexually abusive material, and using a computer to commit a crime.
The suspect is now in the Van Buren County Jail.
