Randy Lea Ford (Routson) of Paw Paw, MI passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Randy was born August 31st, 1953 to Carolyn and Raymond Routson in Gardena, CA.
She is survived by, daughter Scherri (Chris) Ransom, sons; Jason (Clare) Ford and Spencer Ford, 15 grandchildren,11 great grandchildren and sisters; Victoria, Laurel and Nancy.
Randy was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband Michael Ford, daughter in law Jennifer, and sister Sharon.
Randy graduated in 1971 from Carson High School. In 1974, Randy gave birth to her only child Scherri Ann Hockenberry. Randy joined the Marine Corp in 1983 where she served 3 years in North Carolina and 1 year in Okinawa, Japan. She was discharged from the Marines with an honorable discharge. In 1987, Randy married Michael Ford and gained two sons Jason and Spencer Ford. They were married 30 years before Michael passed away in August of 2016. Randy moved to Michigan in 2023 to live on the farm with her daughter and family. She really loved how green Michigan was and farm life suited her well.
Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held for Randy to celebrate her life and honor her memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to Filbrandt Chapel-Starks Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Services. 269-637-0333
