Some boaters are safe after South Haven Area Emergency Services and the U.S. Coast Guard helped them out on Lake Michigan Friday.
SHAES says it responded to a report of a boater in distress south of Pilgrim Haven Friday morning.
The boat had become disabled due to the battery dying. However, the people on board were unharmed.
SHAES stood by while the U.S. Coast Guard out of St. Joseph helped the boaters get back to shore.
