The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help finding a missing girl.
The department says the girl was last seen at the bus station at the intersection of M-139 and Nickerson Avenue in Benton Township on Sunday morning.
The juvenile was dropped off at the bus station around 7 a.m. to wait for her mother to arrive from Missouri. Video from the bus station shows she started talking with a man who arrived on a bus around 9:25 a.m. When the man’s ride arrives, the girl leaves with him, taking her belongings.
The girl, whose name and age have not been released, has not been seen since. Police say they don’t suspect foul play, but they are looking for the her.
The vehicle the juvenile left the bus station in was a dark blue or black Chevy Equinox SUV. It was last seen eastbound on Nickerson.
