Police are investigating the robbery of the Dollar General store in Berrien Springs on Tuesday.
The Berrien Springs Oronoko Township Police Department tells us the suspect walked into the store on M-139 near George Street around 8:55 a.m. wearing black clothing and a black ski mask. He threatened employees with a hand gun and demanded money. He then left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A police K-9 tracked the suspect several hundred yards before losing the scent. P
Police describe the suspect as a Black male, about 5-foot-8 to six feet tall. He had a thin build.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact the Berrien Springs Oronoko Township Police Department.
There were no injuries in the robbery.
