A free community concert will be held Wednesday in Benton Harbor as a celebration of the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship about to get started at Harbor Shores.

The community concert will start at 7 p.m. at Dwight P. Mitchell City Center Park with R&B legend Jeffrey Osborne, alongside jazz artists Gerald Albright and Kim Scott.

Food trucks will be on-site with local favorites, no ticket is needed to attend, and everyone’s encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

In previous years, the community concerts have attracted thousands of people, and organizers say there’s no better way to ramp up excitement for the big golf event.

KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship Community Showcase Committee Chair Jerry Price says the show will be an “opportunity for music fans to experience the depth and breadth of soul, R&B and jazz all in one night.”
