There’s a new website from Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel dedicated to gathering comments from Michiganders upset by power outages.
Nessel says people didn’t have a dedicated place to give feedback, and this fills that need.
“For us to be the best advocate possible, we need information from consumers themselves to find out more about their experiences,” Nessel said. “The other thing is this directly links people to the Michigan Public Service Commission. They are the regulator.”
Nessel says the public’s feedback is key for her office as they intervene against rate hikes and advocate for more reliability.
