With a life so full of adventure and courage, Brad Lintz was a light in the lives of everyone he knew. Born on August 19, 1978, in Niles, Michigan, Brad was the embodiment of loyalty and dedication. He carried these traits throughout his entire life, bringing joy and comfort to his family, friends, and anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. As Mark Twain once said, “The secret of getting ahead is getting started,” and Brad was a man who was never afraid to start something new, to take risks, to live life to the fullest.
Brad was a man of many passions. He was an adventurous soul who found joy in riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and was always ready for a trip to the casino. His courage was evident not just in his hobbies, but also in his work. Alongside his father, Randy Lintz, Brad helped build and repair homes in the Niles area, showing his dedication and hard work in every project he undertook. His loyal companion, Daisey Duke, was always by his side, sharing in his love for life. Brad also had a special place in his heart for roller skating, a hobby that brought him endless joy and laughter.
Brad leaves behind his beloved daughters, Brooklyn “Brookee” and Chelsie, who will continue to carry his adventurous spirit and love for life. He is also survived by his father, Randy Lintz; his mother, Rhonda (Jeff Lowery) Gast; his grandfather, Fred Goffeney; his siblings, Damon, Chris, Mya, and Heaven “Sissy” (John “lilbro”); his step-mother, Sunshine; his granddaughter, Kimberlyn; and his nieces and nephew, Everlynn, Kailen, and Ryder. Brad was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles Lintz and Marion Goffeney; and his grandmother, Georgie Perkins.
