Eastside Connections School in Niles has been recognized by the Michigan Department of Education as a Reward School for high academic achievements.
Niles Community Schools says the distinction is based on several state indicators of success. It says over the past ten school years, Eastside Connections has yielded higher enrollment and strong student growth and achievement data.
Principal Joe Racht says the school has “developed into an amazing place for students, staff and families.” He adds the Michigan Department of Education School Index Report shows Eastside Connections is among the top of statewide school rankings, attributing it to the work of “teachers, supportive district efforts, committed families.”
