It looks like the auto industry is ending the year on a high note.
JD Power analyst Tyson Jominy says dealers are reporting very strong sales so far this December.
“December itself is going to end strong versus last year, which was something we’ve been talking quite a bit about in this industry. How do things compare? Up from last year to the tune of about 9% in December alone.”
Jominy says sales are starting to approach pre-pandemic levels and incentives are starting to return.
Jominy expects those trends to continue in 2024.
