A Sturgis man has been treated for minor injuries suffered in a single-vehicle crash in Cass County on Friday.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Department says deputies were called to the scene on Birch Road north of Chapel Hill Street in Porter Township around 12:45 p.m. They arrived to find 22-year-old Tyler Meringa had been northbound on Birch when he lost control of his vehicle while going around a curve.
The vehicle left the road and rolled.
Meringa was wearing his seatbelt, and alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be factors in the crash.
Meringa was taken by ambulance to Three Rivers Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
