Amy Zapal is leaving St. Joseph Today. She’s been the director of the organization since 2017. Zapal says she’s taken a new position with the Corewell Health Foundation Southwest Michigan and will start in January.
In a message to businesses, Zapal says her time with St. Joe Today has been “an incredible journey,” and she’s grateful to the community, the team, and all of St. Joe Today’s supporters. She says when she was hired, her goal was to fortify the organization’s foundation while charting a new path forward, and she hopes she’s met the community’s expectations.
Zapal says she’s thrilled about the new opportunity that’s come to her, although it’s with mixed emotions that she leaves St. Joseph Today. She plans to remain in southwest Michigan.
Prior to leading St. Joseph Today, Zapal was the director of the Heritage Museum and Cultural Center in St. Joseph.
