Set for this month is the next Whirlpool Corporation Appliance Sale to benefit the United Way of Southwest Michigan.
The United Way’s Jennifer Tomshack tells us Whirlpool will be selling more than 350 appliances at deeply discounted prices. They’ll have everything from refrigerators to ranges to dishwashers, plus small appliances.
“They might be different lines that were discontinued, or for whatever reason, aren’t going out through the usual channels,” Tomshack said. “But they’re all new and in perfect shape.”
Tomshack says the average discount will be 40%. All proceeds go to the United Way.
“It’s a significant fundraiser for Whirlpool Corporation’s employee United Way campaign.”
The sale will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 28 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on October 29 at the Benton Harbor Technology Center on Riverview Drive. For an additional $100, buyers can have their purchases delivered within a 15-mile radius.
All of the major appliances are new, with a full one-year warranty.
