State Senate Minority Leader Aric Nesbitt of Van Buren County is ripping Governor Whitmer’s upcoming “What’s Next Address” set for August 30. Nesbitt says Whitmer “has spoken about helping Michigan’s small businesses but has led an effort to give big union bosses unprecedented power and pour millions of taxpayer dollars into multi-national corporations.”
He adds she “speaks as though she is a bridge-building moderate, but her actions show her to be the champion for the far-left agenda of radical progressives that she is.” Whitmer says her policy priorities that will be discussed this month include making Michigan more competitive, protecting people’s fundamental rights, and expanding opportunity.
