There will be plenty of places to see fireworks in Berrien County this Fourth of July.

Most of the shows are actually on Monday, July 3, and that includes in St. Joseph. The St. Joseph Department of Public Safety says the fireworks will be launched from the South Pier at dusk, or around 10 p.m. Portions of Silver Beach and Tiscornia Beach, as well as the North and South Piers, will be closed to provide a safety zone. Also, the Blossomland Bridge and Bicentennial Bridge will not open for boats until 1 a.m. Everyone’s reminded there will be limited parking below the bluff.

Also on the third, there will be fireworks shows in Baroda, Niles, and New Buffalo.

Baroda’s are fired off in a field behind the American Legion, the New Buffalo fireworks will be shot off into the harbor, and the Niles fireworks will be at the Apple Festival grounds.

July 4 will bring the fireworks show in Berrien Springs. They’re shot off at the Berrien County Youth Fairgrounds, although the fairgrounds won’t be open. You can see the show from locations all over town, including the school parking lots.
