Summer camps are popping up in Southwest Michigan. One of the more artistic activities is coordinated by St. Joe’s Krasl Art Center. Starting the week of June 19th the Krasl Art Center is beginning their youth summer camps.
A variety of camps run from June 19th until August 11th. The first one being a Creativity Camp where kids ages 5-7 can work with a variety of art activities that encourage exploration. Krasl’s Nathan Margoni said the camps run during the day and are open to various age groups.
“Throughout the summer, they start the week of June 19th. They’re all one week camps. The morning sessions are 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. And there are some that are for ages five to seven, and some for ages eight to 12,” said Margoni.
If interested, this camp runs Monday-Thursday from 9am until noon. For more information on different camps at the Krasl Art Center, visit their website krasl.org
