Grammy-winning Rockstar and activist Melissa Etheridge announced she is hitting the road for a 44-date North American tour, which includes a stop in Southwest Michigan. On July 29th, Etheridge will perform at the Silver Creek Event Center at Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo.
Etheridge stormed onto the American rock scene in 1988 with the release of her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, which led to an appearance on the 1989 Grammy Awards show. For several years, her popularity grew around songs like “Ain’t It Heavy,” for which she won a Grammy in 1992. Etheridge continued to grow with 1993’s Yes I Am, featuring another Grammy-winning hit in “Come to My Window.”
