There’s a mess left behind in Dundee in Monroe County after a confirmed EF0 tornado touched down in the village on Saturday. The National Weather Service says the tornado had peak wind speeds of 80 miles per hour. Village Manager Mike Hoffmeister.
“The damage was done by wood, trees, roof structures from buildings, bricks, lots of building materials, façade materials, are what our Department of Publics Works has been cleaning up,” Hoffmeister said.
Hoffmeister said most of its damage concentrated within greater downtown Dundee, though there was also some damage reported to buildings in the Memorial Park area. He says no injuries have been reported.
