The third annual Restaurant Week is set to return to Niles next week, with two brand new businesses ready for their close-up.
Organized by the Greater Niles Chamber of Commerce, the weeklong restaurant week runs from March 6-12 and will feature more than 10 area establishments in an effort to shine a light on the Niles area dining scene.
“The goal is to highlight the growing number of great quality restaurants here,” said Chamber Executive Director Ryan Boeskool. “Niles has a lot of big anchor restaurants that a lot of people know about, but a lot of people also don’t know about. It’s one of those things that you can’t take for granted. There’s always new people in the area, so you have to keep reminding them what some of the great options are.”
Participating restaurants include Iron Shoe Distillery, Create Bar & Grill, Prime Table Restaurant, Front Street Pizza Pub and more. Participating restaurants will be offering different options for $11, $22 and $33. To get one of the deals, diners just need to ask for their Niles Restaurant Week specials.
“It’s a great opportunity to go out and try something new,” Boeskool said. “It’s a great week for all the restaurants … and there’s a lot of collateral impact for other businesses from all the people coming in and out of town.”
Restaurant week will feature specials from a brand new establishment, 2nd and Main coffeehouse and wine bar, which held its grand opening Wednesday. They will be offering discounted gift cards throughout restaurant week.
Another new establishment, Downtown Niles Café, will be celebrating its opening March 6 at 226 E. Main Street.
