Questions surrounding the former Hampton Inn along I-94 in Stevensville can be put to rest.
After operating without signage for months, the hotel at 5050 Red Arrow Highway has been rebranded as a SureStay PLUS Hotel by Best Western. A new sign was displayed under bright lights late Friday night.
According to public records, The hotel was purchased by Pink Arrow LLC on Nov. 8, 2022. The Niles-registered LLC is owned by Mehul Patel, records indicate. In December, on-site manager Shital Patel said the hotel would be called “Stevensville Hotel” during the transition.
An employee at the building said ownership has cleaned all the rooms and is in the process of revamping the room and is preparing other changes. The employee said the hotel has remained open throughout the transition, and they were rebranded in January.
The Best Western website confirmed the hotel pool is closed, and will remain closed through March 31.
The hotel is now listed on Google with a new phone number, (269) 588-1996.
