The Lakeland Pharmacy Shoppe has moved. Corewell Health South announced this past week the pharmacy is now open at the Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, formerly known as Spectrum Health Lakeland Medical Center, on Napier Avenue. The Lakeland Pharmacy Shoppe previously operated out of the Center for Outpatient Services in Hollywood Road in St. Joseph. Corewell says moving the pharmacy improved access to prescriptions for those who might need them outside normal business hours. The Pharmacy Shoppe is now open until midnight, seven days a week, 365 days a year, which includes all holidays. The new hours are weekdays from 8 a.m. to midnight, and weekends from 4 p.m. to midnight. Corewell says anyone can use the pharmacy for prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. It adds, “Enhancing the pharmacy’s availability will fill a critical need for people discharged late from a hospital, receiving treatment at an emergency department, or under hospice care for pain and symptom management.”
