Two local photographers have joined forces with plans to create the “premiere photography studio in southwest Michigan.”
St. Joseph-based SBJ Studios, formerly known as “Shots By Josh,” announced Thursday that Erika Hill Photography, of Berrien Springs, will move into the SBJ Studios location at 3916 Red Arrow Highway in Saint Joseph. The two are renovating the studio space, which will now be known as “The Studio.”
SBJ Studios owner Josh Fairbanks has become a popular photographer in Michiana thanks to his “Fire and Smoke” athlete photo shoots, and has seen increased social media success around the world as a result as well. Hill, meanwhile, specializes in lifestyle photography.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Erika Hill and Erika Hill Photography into our location as our sister studio,” Fairbanks said. “Erika has a wonderfully artistic, genuine and touching style that will compliment our dramatic, intense images well.”
SBJ Studios just finished its busiest month in history, completing 72 photoshoots in October and gaining tens of millions of views on their Facebook page. Fairbanks, however, said the most exciting part of his month was announcing this partnership.
“I couldn’t be more excited to take this next step for Erika Hill Photography,” Hill said. “To get to do it with Josh and SBJ Studios simply means there is no limit to what we can accomplish for our clients.”
