Lloyd “Landon” Womack, 86, of Niles, MI, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
Landon was the youngest of seven children, born December 31, 1935 in Van Buren County, AR to the late Lloyd and Blanche (Wiggins) Womack. On April 20, 2001, Landon married the love of his life, Doris Swartz, in Niles, MI. He was a pipeline welder local 798 for 30 years.
Landon is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Blanche; brothers, John Womack, Doyce Womack; sisters, Estelle Hinkle, and Loulee Kimmah.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; children, Michael (Jana) Zelasko, Cindy Thornburg, Linda (Kim) Wright, Michael L. Womack, Michele Burnside, Robin (Roi) Storey; stepdaughter, Annette (Tom) Beck; grandchildren, Jennifer Zelasko, Jessica (Rick) Moore, Shane (Shannon) Storey, Shannon (Jared) Nevins, Chad (Kim) Wright, Josh (Keli) Wright, Michael E. Womack, Paul Womack, Matthew Burnside, Michael Terry, Jimey Stover; step-grandchildren, Nick (Emily) Crouch, Bart (Jessica) Crouch; sisters, Betty Skalla, Bobbie Brelowski; 22 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and his best friends, Maggie and Connor.
Visitation for Landon will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 4 – 6 pm at Hoven Funeral Home, 414 E. Front St., Buchanan, MI 49107.
