There will be a ribbon cutting this month to celebrate the official opening of the Bridge Academy in Benton Harbor. Kinexus says the event will include tours of the new space, information about the Bridge Academy, and refreshments. The Bridge Academy is designed for students seeking a flexible approach to education connected to career preparation and job readiness. It’s located inside of the Michigan Works Berrien, Cass, Van Buren office in Benton Harbor. It’s authorized by the Central Michigan University Center for Charter Schools. The ribbon cutting to celebrate the Bridge Academy’s official opening will be on August 19 will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with tours to follow.
